Tradition and Progress
The Rosenberger story began in 1958 in the Upper Bavarian Alpine foothills with Hans Rosenberger senior. The mechanical engineering division developed from what was originally a small locksmith's shop and from there Custom Machining emerged.
When Rosenberger was founded the core business was the machining of metal parts. At the end of the 1960s the company entered the field of high-frequency technology which subsequently became the mainstay of sales in the 1970s and for which the name Rosenberger is primarily known today.
Custom Machining is located in Fridolfing in south-east Germany, at the same premises of the parent company and the headquarters of the globally active Rosenberger Group. Therefore, the independent corporate division offers the best of both worlds: more than 60 years’ experience in the processing of machinable materials combined with in-depth technology and methodological skills; and access to the know-how and deep resources of the Rosenberger Group.
Rosenberger is one of the largest and most attractive employers in the region. The company remains family-owned with brothers Hans, Bernhard and Peter Rosenberger as managing directors.
